The YCA in Sandwell is urging people from the Black, African and Minority Ethnic communities to take the vaccination when it is offered to them.
The YCA is aware there is still Covid-19 vaccine hesitancy among the BAME community. We advise the community to get their facts about the vaccine from trusted sources like your local GP or websites like NHS.UK so individuals can make an informed and evidence-based decisions.

Every week we will be running a challenge for young people aged between 8 – 14 years of age.
In a previous challenge, we have looked at different upcycling methods and made something from nothing. In this week’s challenge, we want you to bring your unwanted empty tin cans to life by making them into that can be used at home such as a pot for pens, flower pot or you can surprise us with a better idea.
Click on the link on the table below to view the fifth challenge in detail:

The Yemeni Community Association in Sandwell are pleased to present to its members and the community our Annual General Report for 2019-2020.
We have had an excellent year delivering vital services to the community and extending our reach through our innovative language and employability programmes, wellbeing workshops, advice and advocacy services and to the youth as all programmes have gone strength to strength despite facing challenges in an uncertain economic climate.
We continue to surpass our targets and have further built long lasting relationships with key stakeholders to offer support and guidance to our colleagues across the borough, to our staff and the community.
The YCA are proud to continue serving the most vulnerable and our programmes are continuously reflecting the needs of marginalised and hard to reach communities across Sandwell as we improve all our programmes, focus on user experience and share best practice across the sector.
We pride ourselves in doing the best we can for our young people and the community.
We look forward to seeing you on ZOOM on the 27 Feb at 3.00pm for the Annual General Meeting
See you there!
