Arabic School – £375 per year
The Arabic School, established by the YCA in March 1998, is dedicated to teaching the Arabic language to children aged 8 to 14 years. This initiative was born out of the community’s desire for a mother tongue school, and it has been primarily funded by the parents of attending children, reflecting the high value placed on this educational activity.
Over the years, the YCA has continually sought to improve the quality of education through formal evaluations. These evaluations, including assessments by Sandwell LEA using OFSTED guidelines and feedback from Sandwell Adult & Family Learning, have consistently been positive, demonstrating the school’s commitment to educational excellence.
Quran School – £275 per year
The Quran School, managed by the YCA, offers a specialised programme focused on teaching the Quran to children. Established in response to parental demand, the school aims to instil Islamic values in young people while helping them read, understand and recite the holy Quran. This program is available at an affordable cost of £275.

The teachers at the both schools have completed basic teacher training courses, enabling them to effectively engage children in their learning. Additionally, all teachers have completed Level 1 Safeguarding children training and have passed Enhanced DBS checks, ensuring a safe and secure learning environment.
