Safeguarding
At the Yemeni Community Association in Sandwell (YCA), safeguarding is our highest priority. We are dedicated to providing a safe, supportive and inclusive environment where everyone is protected from harm.
We are committed to:
- Ensuring equal protection from all forms of harm and abuse for children, young people and vulnerable adults.
- Identifying those who are suffering, or are at risk of suffering, significant harm and taking prompt, appropriate action.
- Working in partnership with young people, service users, staff and external organisations to promote a culture of safety and respect.

Mental Health Support
We recognise the importance of mental health and emotional wellbeing. The YCA has a qualified psychotherapist and counsellor who is also a trained Mental Health First Aider, available to support service users as needed.
