Assalamu alaykum brothers and sisters,

With the coronavirus pandemic, we are all feeling a sense of sadness, a feeling of loss and our hearts are mourning, we are gravely missing the Masjid.

We are finding ourselves more and more in financial loss due to the masjid closure. Every Friday we collect around £250 we will be unable to replace due to the lockdown. Our dedicated congregation are our only source of financial support and always kept us afloat through their generous donations.

Even if the doors of the Masjid are closed, the doors of Sadaqah are always open.

The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said:

"Charity extinguishes sin as water extinguishes fire." [Al-Tirmidhi, 614]
