Youth Activities – Weekly Challenge 5
Every week we will be running a challenge for young people aged between 8 – 14 years of age.
In a previous challenge, we have looked at different upcycling methods and made something from nothing. In this week’s challenge, we want you to bring your unwanted empty tin cans to life by making them into that can be used at home such as a pot for pens, flower pot or you can surprise us with a better idea.

AGM 2020
The Yemeni Community Association in Sandwell are pleased to present to its members and the community our Annual General Report for 2019-2020.
We have had an excellent year delivering vital services to the community and extending our reach through our innovative language and employability programmes, wellbeing workshops, advice and advocacy services and to the youth as all programmes have gone strength to strength despite facing challenges in an uncertain economic climate.
We continue to surpass our targets and have further built long lasting relationships with key stakeholders to offer support and guidance to our colleagues across the borough, to our staff and the community.
The YCA are proud to continue serving the most vulnerable and our programmes are continuously reflecting the needs of marginalised and hard to reach communities across Sandwell as we improve all our programmes, focus on user experience and share best practice across the sector.
We pride ourselves in doing the best we can for our young people and the community.
We look forward to seeing you on ZOOM on the 27 Feb at 3.00pm for the Annual General Meeting

Youth Activities – Weekly Challenge 4
Every week we will be running a challenge for young people aged between 8 – 14 years of age.
During this unprecedented period of time, many people, particularly the elderly, may start to feel lonely and isolated as they isolate from the community. To help keep their spirits up we want you to write a letter to a neighbour, relative or member of the community to check in on them and to let them know they are not alone promoting a strong sense of togetherness.
